Braswell Family Farms Celebrates 75 Years with Partners

Braswell Family Farms Celebrates 75 Years with our BFFs!

Braswell Family Farms celebrated our 75th anniversary with our vendor partners on Thursday, March 7. Our fourth-generation, family-owned farm held an oyster roast event at Rocky Mount Mills with more than 150 vendor partners in attendance.

We are thankful for everything our vendors do to make our business successful. Trey Braswell, our company President, echoed this during Thursday’s event, “This business is not successful because of me. It is successful because of the hard work and dedication of our employees and our vendors who make it possible for Braswell Family Farms to produce the highest quality eggs and feed.”

John Watson, Vice President of Sales and Marketing also noted that “You are always able to meet our needs and get us the resources we need in a timely manner, whether it be cartons, labels, feed ingredients, or parts. You never say no, instead you ask ‘how can I help?’” Willie Jervis, Vice President of Operations, also thanked our vendor partners for helping Braswell Family Farms grow over the past 75 years.

At the end of the event, Javier Bou with Eggland’s Best presented Braswell Family Farms with a congratulatory plaque. Braswell Family Farms has been a franchisee of Eggland’s Best since its inception in the early 1990s.

The oyster roast celebration was attended by second and third generation owners, Gene and Scott Braswell and their families; fourth-generation president, Trey Braswell and his wife, Wimberly; as well as several Braswell Family Farms employees. Vendor partners from across the country were in attendance and we are so thankful for their willingness to take time out of their schedules to be there.

Live music by Old Habits band was enjoyed by all, as well as steamed oysters and seafood by Nixon’s Catering, an assortment of cakes from Hayes Barton Cafe, and goody bags filled with products from local companies in North Carolina.
