Directions
- Cut carton to about 3" x 8" and fold it in half lengthwise.
- Make the boiled eggs.
- Place your eggs in a pot and cover with cold water by 1 inch.
- Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then cover, remove from the heat and set aside 8 to 10 minutes.
- Drain, cool in ice water and peel.
- Note: cook 4-5 minutes for soft boiled eggs and 7-8 minutes for medium boiled eggs.
- After peeling the egg and while it is still warm, put the egg on the milk carton, place a chopstick on the center of the egg, and put rubber bands on both ends.
- Leave it for about 10 minutes.
- Take the chopstick off and cut the egg in half.
Decorative options:
- Sprinkle paprika over the eggs for added flavor and decor.
- Remove the yolks and soak the peeled eggs in beet juice for at least 12 hours, dying them a pink and purplish color.
- Turn the heart-shaped eggs in deviled eggs with your favorite twist on the classic.
